I really like the cave troll!  The Urukai has great skin tones.

Thank you    I had trouble getting the troll in focus - I will maybe try an get a better photo of him at some point.  I have just put a bid on another one so maybe I'll get a photo of both together (assuming I win  ) 
I am going to try and do each type of orc with a different skin tone just for a bit of variety.  I am hoping to start the goblind next (right after I finish the rest of the riders of Rohan)

Indeed. This project is progressing beautifully. Lots of very well painted miniatures that must be a joy to game with. ;-)

Only had one game so far and forgot to take pics !  My mind is now moving towards making some terrain for it as well so we shall see how that goes!

Thank you  The last week of my holidays and still beavering away on Lotr figures.  More men of Rohan and I have now nearly completed the figures I have for this force.  Still debating as to what to do next.

followed by 8 more warriors on foot.

this is where I am up to on Rohan at the moment and I hope that my order of static grass is here soon so that I can finish off the basing!  


I am anticipating a bit of a slow down next week as I return to work  but hopefully there will still be stuff to post!

      I just picked up some second hand Rohan and this is making me wish I had time to paint them sooner.

Thanks - they are nice figures and the rank and file can be picked up quite cheap, it's only character models that are expensive.  I am looking forward to getting a game with them
