Photos from ours last tournament
« on: October 03, 2008, 01:02:50 PM »
Hi, this weekend took place at Clichy near Paris, our 7th tournament since 2005.

Synopsis:

Eight legends of the wild west came at Clichy Gulch for a shooting competition organized by the mayor of the city, the prize is 3000$ for the winner.

But every posse is here for an other reason:

    *      Jesse James and John Ringo came to steal the prize before the end of the competition
    *      Pat Garrett and his guys to arrest John Ringo
    *      Wyatt Earp and his lawmen to protect the mayor
    *      Crazy Horse and his braves to show white people the indian art of war by counting coups
    *      Leander McNelly and his texas ranger want to kill Crazy Horse
    *      James Bridger and his mountain men to protect Crazy Horse to avoid a new indian war.
    *      Wild Bill Hickock to make a contract sign to the mayor who will authorize the passage of the railroad to Clichy Gulch

the scoring was:

    *      1 point for a victory
    *      10 points if the secret objective is reached

The 3 firsts games were standard scenarios, the last was a special one, each player play only their legends togheter on a same table for trying to reach their objective.

Some photos

Bar room brawl between Wild Bill Hickock's posse and John Peters Ringo's posse

Jesse james is in Clichy Gulch only for a single thing; steal the prize of the tournament.

The money must be safy at the bank ... in fact no !

Chinese posse going to make a jailbreak in order to deliver one of them putting in jail after the bar room brawl

As he was going to the mayor villa, Wyatt Earp and his men were trapped in an indian amush.

Foreigners in the sinister look arrive in city, for which do they look exactly?

Clichy gulch and its neighborhood

The magnificent residence of the mayor.

The mayor under his patio

In the dark night, after having looked for nothing for the prize in the bank, Jesse James's posse tries their luck in the villa of the mayor.

The same night, texas rangers wanted to hang a man of the posse of John Peters Ringo and they succeed.

Night-confrontation meadows of the pig's enclosure. The darkness will not be favorable to the men of Pat Garrett. This was an other indian victory.

The next day the mayor tries to join the city escorted by Wyatt Earp and his men.

But he is attacked near the old trapper's house.

Just like Custer, Texas Rangers have their " last stand ". Now brave of Crazy Horse, are called " Khorne's Indians World Eaters "

Wild Bill Hickock in front of Wyatt Earp, confrontation of legend

Another duel of legend: Pat Garett against John Peters Ringo

This evening all was quiet in the city, there everything was quiet in too quiet city, maybe too quiet

There where everything finished, Jesse James found this time the magos but regrettably were not able get it, because of a fistful of inches.

Thanks very much.
For my own experience I read Lucky Luke when I was a child. I was alway fan of the ACW period (due to an other comic: Les Tuniques Bleus),
but I really fall in Old West period by beginning playing Legends Of The Old West in the same time I watch Deadwood on TV.
Now it's one of my favourite game and period.

Lovely stuff. Did Anyone survive? :)

Legends in lotow are very strong (like all charcaters in other GW's games), so no one  of them die (only henchmen and heros) but Leander McKelly became out of play once or twice (I don't remenber) during the tournament... great suspens  :)

Otherwise, for those who wants to visit Paris and play lotow with us, the two next tournaments will take place in november (one day at Ivry) and march (two days at Levallois).
