Plastic halfling comparison
« on: February 29, 2024, 09:20:27 AM »
Has anyone got the Mantic halflings and the WA halfings for comparison? If you have any humans or dwarfs as well for comparison that would be handy.

I know the design choices are different, just wondering mainly if the Mantic ones would be a good gnome base.

Finally found a comparison that’s useful… and those are big halflings. Scotches that plan but will work as alts for oathmark and Hasslefree dwarves.

I don't have pics, but I've just measured a WA halfling, and it's around 17mm to the top of the shoulder.

Warlord did some resin ones, but I'm not sure where I've put mine, so can't check their height

Yeah the mantic ones are a bit huge compared to other ranges, not got any pictures but the copplestone casting halflings I've got are noticeably smaller than the mantic ones, could even be 4mm-ish shorter.

Yeah, I’d read that they were bigger, I’d hoped they do as a smaller dwarf (gnome), but doesn’t look like it. Still, with a dwarf head…
