I was looking forward to some halfling mercenaries. The list looks great. No need for halfling mercenaries I guess with that amount. I'm quite excited to see this. I hope they keep the medieval look. :)

Is that a goblin? He looks good.

Our mercenaries are  Humans :--)

And yes - it's a goblin, but he'll need a fair bit of work.

This is the 1st miniature for a little warband. Inspired by D&D's 'Blizzard pass' as well as Mr. Bonner.

That goblin is magnificent. Can you tell when he ( and his warband friends ) will go on sale?

That'll take a while I am afraid. I really want an entire warband before i unleash them on humanity. :--)

And progress on the halflings? :)

All the little hands bodies and heads and a fair few weapons have been sent to the resin guy to make the required bits. Now the work on some mountain goats has started. Update soon :--)

Anyways - here's some images from what we're working on atm.
Bodies:

Sword, Falchion and Messer:

Size-comparison:

Reminds me that we'll do some mercenary units - so far I have some sort of white company on the radar which I really wanted to use as Brettonians for Mordheim. The only thing that exists is a neat scetch from Michael, but I am sure we'll see more later this year.

This is great! I'm especially glad the Halflings are getting proper medieval attire. It's not that I "hate" Halflings/Hobbits conceptualised as wearing early 19th century style shirts, waistcoats, coats and top hats in an otherwise medieval world, but the ones previewed here look rather swank in their belted tunics. Can't wait to see more. Maybe some of them could get medieval-style hats or caps on their heads?

I love the halflings, but that goblin is absolutely spot-on.

The rest of the warband cannot come soon enough!

They look great, coming along really nicely. Thanks for the pics. I can't help noticing the dagger on the spearman's belt looks like a set of privates.  lol

So true. Our Halflings really have 15th century garb. I am also looking into doing more civilian types. I am planing a militia formation inspired by the German peasant wars. These will have caps and hats.

Great, always like the militia type. People ( be they Humans, Dwarfs, Orcs, Halflings or whatever ) who are forced to pick up whatever they can find in order to defend their homes, family and livestock/crops/holes in the ground/nests ). Never can have too many of those  :D.
