Excellent! :-* My favorite chapter in their cool camo colours. Back when Space Marines were still highly trained killers, instead of ambulatory jewelry shops...
Love the bases too, by the way!

Thank you for your kind words!

In a fit of motivation, I decided to start putting together some heavy support for the Marines, a couple of commissars for a laugh, plus trying out a few greenskins - (mostly) assembled and primed:

The metal orks from this era are quite brilliant. The plastic box set which was a counterpart to the marines is effing terrible though - the chappy on the right is from that. They're all squatting even more oddly than the marines, have terrible mould lines, and they don't assemble well. I have quite a few...

I have a bunch of IG guys, including the two commissars, but I've lost pretty much all of the plastics, so I now don't have enough arms or weapons to finish the couple of metal command sections I have. Mind you, I no longer have any plastic IG for them to be in command of, so what the hey...

Good stuff. Agree those plastic orks are some of the worst miniatures GW ever released.
