Plasticville buildings
« on: October 05, 2008, 10:31:06 PM »
Has anyone used the Bachmann Plasticville range of buildings?

I recently came across the zombietown site http://www.skankgame.com/zombietown.html and most of the terrain uses a plasticville shell and damn they look good.  The site also has some great and cheap tips for making terrain.

I've made some of the pdf buildings from fatdragon games and they are good also.

Any other suggestions for buildings would be appreciated.

Cheers

Yes, they are sturdy, easily assembled and look good on the table.  With appropriate stage dressing they can work for anything from about mid 20th century up to near future or post apocalyptic games.

For cardboard:

Worldworks Games (Mayhem range)
MicroTactix Twilight Streets (Heroic)

Like FatDragon, MicroTactix can be purchased for download at RPG Now.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

www.wholesaletrains.com  carries them in the US.  I'm not sure how they are with international sales, but might be worth shooting them an e-mail.

Hello!

Has anyone the dimensions (not scale) of plasticville buildings? I am interested in the width and length. Height doesn't matter for my terrain planning and I guess these numbers wouldn't have to be pedantic (19,5554 cm is 20cm...).

Joroas, thanks for the ontracks link! So there is an affordable source for p-ville in Europe  :)
