28mm Pets
« on: March 17, 2015, 03:20:37 AM »
Hey folks, I'm looking for some animals in 28mm for a pet store for my City table. I have a fair few cats already, so that's covered. Also there's the dog thread in Pulp, but what about birds, ferrets, maybe hedgehogs, penguins? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.  ;)

For starters, there's North Star, although few of these would be found in a typical pet shop:

Foundry has a selection of various beasties, domesticated and wild (but again, very few house pets)

If it's penguins you're after, Copplestone has a set:

Eureka Miniatures has a variety of cats and dogs, but sometimes they're a bit challenging to locate them on the website.  These are a recent release:

Model railroad suppliers may have some useful ideas:

Brigade Games also has a few sets hidden on the website (including even more penguins!):

Check out the Reaper familiars packs as well!

Thanks for the help guys. I picked up a Reaper Bones familiar pack for $3.50, has pretty much everything I'll need. Will keep the other links though.

Too late, but Mega Miniatures used to have a lot of small animals - I don't remember who picked up their lines, though.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
