And here are the five troopers done. These aren't the best painted figures but they'll do for me  :) Got to get three more for a squad and then some 'good guys'...

Dunno, they look pretty swish to me!

I mean, I keep looking at yours, and then at mine (still with their pre-paint coats), and I cannot believe the difference some ink and white touch-ups has made.  :o

They certainly ain't pretty close up but were easy, which is the main thing (I'm no good at painting white quickly on a lot of figures and making it look good).

With storm troopers it's the mass effect you want anyway.  :D

Stop it, man!
You make me want to get on with mine now.

Seeing them forming up like that, they do look good.

In between casting stock for Salute I painted one of the rebel navy troopers.

Even at this range they will probably miss  lol

I also dug out a very old spaceship I started before I went to uni (never throw anything away!) which will be 15-16 years ago  :o The original styrene is very yellow now and a little brittle in places but as it's for scenery I'm not too bothered. The cockpit and adjoining corridor are new along with the landing gear and structure at the front and underneath. The cockpit needs some glass panels adding and the usual gubbins and there will be a boarding ramp in the middle of the front with the possibility of a sensor array on the right.

Ten points and a chocolate biscuit to who guesses what the cockpit was originally  :D

Just get on with it  ;D

Looks great, I really like the details around the engines, as to the cockpit, is it the casing from a plug-iin nightlight?

Looks like a toothbrush travel holder to me.

Nice ship! The back is awesome, lots of gibbins there.

Cheers
Matt.

Wow, she ain't getting off the ground, yet alone the imperial blockage without fixing her hull damage and shield array first. - That side shot went straight through her!
