Lovely!

As you say, the Luftwaffe Field Divisions became part of the army from November 1943 and 'mixed dress' was very visible in photos of troops from 16. Feld-Division (L) in Normandy, so just mix in Heer troops to your heart's content! :)

Hi guys

The Trippel’s and S35s are finished, and starting on the next batch of French vehicles, we have 2x H39s, and 2x p107 artillery tractors for a client, and 3x Schneider P17 armoured half tracks for my own French project, everything in this post except the crew figures which are AB minis are 3D printed.

Hi guys

I’ve printed out some artillery for my Luftwaffe field Division troops, the 76.2cm Fk288 (r) which is the German designation for the Russian Zis3, and the M30 122mm howitzers, the 16th LWFD had these 2 guns in there artillery units, whilst I’m not specifically doing the 16th, I am using the 16th as the template and will use my LWFD force as any of the divisions.

Im also working on some German pioneer bridging units, so have printed out a couple of heavy lorries with bridging equipment, there should have been 4, but 2 failed, every self respecting army should have the option to cross rivers.

And I’ve printed a French MC sidecar unit, these STLs were bought of wargaming3D, I’m not entirely sure the dimensions are accurate, I haven’t researched them yet, but the bikes and sidecars feel a little small, but they’ll do the job for now.

So much more stuff!!

Getting a bridging column together is cool.

I like the camo scheme on the SOUMAs with the blue on the top of the turret, not sure I’ve seen this one before.

I’ve seen the blue a few times, but only on models, I haven’t seen a museum S35 with blue, but I have seen light grey but in a very different scheme, I can never tell what colours are what on B&W pics, so Ive just copied other, here’s another similar scheme

That one with the light grey is very unusual.

Perhaps I need a few more S35s to try some different paint schemes…. (Although all my current French forces rarely get on the table together)

 Hi guys

These vehicles have sat in my cabinet without crews or flocked bases, so pulled them out and finished them of, I’ll need to paint up some crew figs for the armoured cars, but they now back in the cabinet feeling finished (although, I need to paint some yellow numbers on the Pz IVs)

Being a rivet counter, wasn't the 75mm 233 produced from Dec 1942?  - so not really contemporaneous with yellow numbers on the Pz IV?  Cracking looking vehicles though, and the crew figures really make the difference.

The vehicles are part of my panzer grey project, covering from France 1940 to the end of Stalingrad, the idea being to have a pool of vehicles that you can make a force for any date within that scope, so not all vehicles would be fielded together, want to play France? Pick the Pz I, II, early IIIs and early IVs, etc.

Very sensible.  I've done pretty much the same thing. And unfortunately I love doing rare vehicles like the Sig33 and the Luchs as well as the huge variety of armoured cars and softskins.

 Hi guys

Finished this lot of (except basing and crews for the P16s) the H39s and P107s will be winging off to their new owner soon, and the P16s will go in the display cabinet until I pull them out to base and add crews. They are all 3D printed, pretty happy with how they came out, of to pick something out to work on next.

 Hi guys

This week I’ve printed some gun tractors in the form of Krupps and Sdkfz 6s, the Krupps will go to my Hungarians, will do another lot that will go to my various German groups later, the Sdkfz 6s will go to my Germans, probably my LWFD, and I printed some Sdkfz 251 funnies, they’ll go to my fictional ss unit, KG Danl, these are all pretty nicely designed STLs, and will paint up well, all of thingyverse.

LOL, I don’t know why LAF does this, it’s the only sight that posts my pics upside down.
