Hi guys

1st test print of the D8506 tractor, used by the Wehrmacht in various roles and Romanians as an artillery tractor, doesn’t seem to be any weak areas, all errors in the print are from support placement, except the left rear wheel tried direction, it is going in the wrong direction, I’ve fixed that for the next test print, pretty happy with how these have turned out, I’ll have another go at adding supports, do a second test print and I’ll add it to my Wargaming3D shop.

They are very cool.

When everyone is fawning over the Panzers, they do rather forgot the crap like this (and the horses) that the rest of the army relied on.

 Hi guys

Preparing to do a test print on my 4th CAD file, a German Hf2 wagon, we all need lots of the neglected horse drawn wagons, well I do anyway, I’m not sure how to CAD living things like horses, I personally have a lot of spare 1/72 horse I can use, but for now I may need to find a way to provide horses with it. I’m doing 4 options, horses hitched and unhitched and spare wheel attached or unattached. This is based on Egbert Michels excellent 1/200 file, updated to 1/72 or larger detail and a slight adjust in some areas, I will provide it as a free file when it’s ready.

They are cool - I like the spare wheel.

As for horses, there must be STL files out there already, hopefully with harness, but if not bare?

Yes, there are, I’ll be harnessing a few different horses to have pose options.

Hi guys

1st test print of the German Hf2 horse drawn cart done, I need to thicken/strengthen the break lever mechanism, the shovel and the axles, there was some breakage there, I also may consider making the hitching pole a seperate piece, to lessen warping, and enable it to be positioned however you like, which would lessen the STL files from 4 to 3.

I’m pretty happy with how these turned out, the wood grain is especially nice, I think the sizing is about right, have added various 20mm-1/72 figures for scale, as far as horses go, I’m going to add harnesses to a few free horse STLs and see how they look, try and get a variety of horse poses.

Once done I’ll add it as a free download to https://www.wargaming3d.com/vendor/dan-dunbar/

Hi guys

I found some horses on thingyverse, made by Brexit, have added harnesses to them, they'll do the trick, I'm planning on doing a lot of horse drawn stuff, (an ambo next) so I will add these to my shop link as a free download to be added to the wagons, I Strengthened and thickened the weak points on the Hf2 wagons, they are now available as a free download on My shop next up? we all need drivers for our wagons.
