 Hi guys

Got some work done on this lot, not finished yet though, the Sdkfz 254 is a lovely model, the file is 1/56 but shrinks down to 1/72 with no issues, I have no affiliation with this sculptor and paid full price, but itís worthy of a shout out, the file can be found here Sdkfz 254 , the Kfz 1 is also a nice model, the basic Kfz 1 can be found here Kfz 1 unfortunately the variants, Kfz 2 radio car and 4 AA car were my own conversion and the files are not available. The Kfz 15 file was available on thingyverse and cults but seems to have disappeared, I did some improvements to that file, and also made a Kfz 15 radio car version. The MB L 4500 trucks are my own and will be released one day soon when I find some time.

 Hi guys

Finished up a 1/72 North African campaign commission, all vehicles are 3D prints, figures are AB, Iím just waiting for some Dak crew to turn up to add to the vehicles, otherwise done, all markings except the balkenkreuz on the Sdkfz 254 are hand painted.

This is for a customer, he doesnít want the full 15th Pz Div, just various sub units in full, e.g 8th Pz regt, one of the Pz gren regts etc

 Hi guys

The excellent AB D.a.k crew arrived from Eureka miniatures for these 3D printed cars, so I painted them up and now they are ready to be shipped off to their new home.

Hi guys

We are well into 2024 and I have been so busy I havenít even thought about hobby plans for this year, at the end of 2022 I pledged that I would stick to 1/72 WWII for all of 2023, and I failed, I lasted 8 month before being lured away by other genres and scales, I had planned on doing the full year, then moving onto another genre for a year, however, I still have so much to do, and I really enjoy 1/72 WWII, so Iím committing myself to another full year, last year I made good progress on my Hungarians, 1940s French and Luftwaffe field Div, this year I will concentrate on the 21st Pz Div, and 1940 BEF, as well as making a start on Russian Naval infantry and assault engineers.

I have already printed some of the vehicles for the 21st, but I did that before I taught myself CAD, so the detail is quite chunky on some of these vehicle, Iím not going to continue with the chunky detail, so my choices are re design the STL files and start over, or physically remove the detail and re detail the old fashioned way, I think I will do both, try and save these vehicles and future prints will be updated.

Iím going to start by doing elements of kampfgruppe von luck, firstly his HQ, which will have himself, an MC recon element, a Pak 38, and a pioneer section, then Iíll work on PzGren regt 125, Pz Aufk-Abt 21, Pz Regt 22, Storm-Abt 200 as well as some AT, AA and pioneer element.

 Hi guys

Have put these 3 Unic P107 gun tractors and Pak 38s together for my 21st Pz Div project, the towed AT guns in the AT units were Pak 43/41s, but various regimental HQs had Pak 38s attached, I probably only need 2 of these, but I have the models to do 3, so Iíll do 3. The only improvement I did on the P107s was replace the door handles, remove the unconvincing shovels and at a folded down windscreen, stowage, and crew. The Pak 38s are my own design, I have these 3 in the towed position spare, Iíll print a couple of deployed 38s as well. Iíll need some more P107s to tow the Pak 43/41s but Iíll improve the file a little before printing.

Always great to see your projects developing, quality and quantity going together, and all the conversions.. I was looking forward to see that on the 21st Pz Div ďresurrectedĒ, as I was also planning something similar (on a much more modest scale) for KG von Luck..indeed, I bought some 3D printed P-107 halftracks but yours look better, i.e. more realistic, as the armour is a bit thinner than that on the models that I got.
on another note: I see figures in greatcoats (and goggles, recon troops?), are they part of the same 21st PzDiv project?

Yes, Von Lucks HQ has a MC recon detachment attached to it.
