They put a lot of work into it so good luck to the company but it wouldn't be for me.

Will say a word to that; I know there are still some bad feelings about KS missteps, there often are. But they were very good to me when I'd misplaced my manual. High marks on service!

However, I'm more interested in using the tripods either in GASLIGHT-in-15mm game, or tiptoeing through the Flames of War crowd...

I do wonder about not-restocking if you are seeing sales. I understand keeping on-hand thin, but are sales so small as to not bother? Not that you don't have plenty to keep you busy.

I play it at my club http://www.essexwarriors.org/

Its a fun game and new players are always happy they joined in. Shame the Kickstarter took so long to send out stuff and I'm still waiting for the final Wave 3 items. Luckily Wayland Games are now going to be the main Importer. At least my future requirements will be available.

Luck has nothing to do with it. We had always supplied Wayland Games with All Quiet, but they'd been nagging at Architects to buy direct for bigger discounts. Architects caved in last month and supplied direct. That wouldn't have been an issue if we didn't have an exclusive agreement with Architects, which they broke. The exclusive agreement was only running till June 2015, Architects couldn't wait for one month to end the agreement honourably.

Forget about it.

But how do you paint a cold germ in 15mm?

Easy, stain your slides.

Did they decide to supply Wayland directly before or after you made your intentions to stop selling it clear?

Before. That was the reason we chose to stop stocking.

Maybe they didn't realise you are both in the same country.
Or could be that "exclusive" has a different meaning for our colonial cousins.

We ARE unscrupulous pirates, aren't we?  :D

Nick, I obviously don't know the whole story, and you were properly reticent to explain, but I have witnessed your work long enough to offer my apologies for the injury by others.

Consider me 'explained.'

No, they emailed to tell me they'd done it, and that it ended my exclusive. As I said before, they couldn't wait one month...

I'm playing it and enjoying it, but very casually.  I've written up my thoughts on it here: http://crikeymiles.tumblr.com/post/120025968150/all-quiet-on-the-martian-front-two-years-on

In short, I think there are a couple of great things about it, and one massive clanger, which is easily fixed with a house rule.  However, when a game has to be fixed with a house rule, it's never destined for greatness.
Gaslands - Post-Apocalyptic Vehicular Mayhem, to be published by Osprey.

I honestly haven't met a set of rules that hasn't been house ruled.
