Huge bundle of tank bits, cheap, I'll show how...
« on: August 28, 2023, 06:28:49 PM »
Can't get cheaper stuff.  The treads alone are a prize (with scratchbuilding ingenuity, can make many 40k ish tank treads with one strip.

The hulls on these are small enough to make main tanks and battle wagons....and so much more

Indeed with a bit of ingenuity & inspiration , one can make wonders. Which reminds I have 2 1/35 Bmp's which I had for years waiting to be converted. Perhaps 2 dropships for 15/18mm.

There are some great units in the Tamiya range... the Walker Bulldog is both cheap and has lots of potential, as is the SKDF 251 halftrack which would make a great Chimera if you made it slightly wider (with a strip of plasticard up the middle). Another great tank is the Panther... the basic kit is cheap and it has the bonus of wider tracks :) .
