General Pettygree's Most Trying Hours
« on: April 30, 2015, 12:45:08 AM »
The same day Gen. Pettygree disembarked at the Tapi River Camp at Burhanpur, word arrived the Thugees were en-route to kill him, destroy the Imperial Army and continue their remarkable subjugation of India. The dispatch indicated the Entrenched Camp would be the likely target. Here is half of the story:

So --- gather your kit, shoulder your rifle, stand to with your regiment and get ready to march. There is not a second to spare. You there in the back, put down those confounded contraptions!

The story advances by my customary briefly captioned photos. This is only half of the story. The second half will be posted on 3 May, 2015. It's already to post.

Move along now.....
Respectfully,

PS You! Do you want to be on report! The General needs you under arms.

Hi Juergen s'hab!
The walls belong to Jim P. (Fife & Drum) were painted by Chuck L. in our local group and were manufactured by Kobblestone Miniatures. See
