They are nice.

An altenative is Eureka's Italian Greyhound (dogs can be proabably bought seperately if you talk to Nic):

They are small (as is the breed), but I'm using them for my Earlly Imperial Romans.

Sorry VL - not ig's to my eyes.

As a proud servant to an Ig I think those dogs by Eureka are close but wrongish shape / far too fat to be IG's, even spoiled ones !
eg

The medievals are great hounds but not "sight"houndy enough for me.
Would love to get some IG's minis or even better Borzoi !

Not sure if the big Pulp dog threat has any greyhounds in there but should be worth a look:

Thanks all.

I went with Paintermans hounds. Really nice minatures.

I got the dogs

I got a Sibylla

http://www.aandaminiatures.co.uk/view_product/?p=178

And the guards

http://www.grippingbeast.co.uk/GBP05_Arab_Heavy_Cavalry--product--4999.html

Now I just need to find more reference pictures of the guards so I can see colours, clothes and equipment better. Its hard to find picture, or my googlefu is week in this subject.

Any one got any better ones?

So what do you say, armour, shields, spear/lances and maybe bows?
Paintingwise I see white horses, and clothes should be black and orange with maybe some red in it.

I always thought it a little strange at that point in the movie, that the delectable Eva Green - supposedly sister to the uber-Christian King of Jerusalem and wife of a Templar Lord - fetches up in the company of a load of black-clad saracen bodyguards. Who are never seen again.
It's a very dramatic entrance, which is justification enough. But it doesn't make much sense...  Although looking again at the still, I see they do have the Jerusalem heraldry on their shields, so maybe...
