Wonderful work on both of these entries...very inspiring stuff indeed!

Admiral...can you let me know where that cannon crew is from?  I feel a strong urge to add them to my old school Bretonnian army...for which I have a significant artillery park but too many of the same figures to man them.  these look like they would be perfect fits!

Cheers,

Blue

The figures are from the fine Grenadier Fantasy Warriors range sculpted by Marc Copplestone:

When Marc sculpted the Fighting Men subrange, he did a real burgundian army secretly. You will find all of the burgundian standard types of fighters including crossbows and handgunners. And all very nicely and historically correct done. I will mix them into my Perry units ...

Today they are still available:

Both are very really a piece of art.  :-*
@Michael: With your four absolutely perfect photos, the awesome painted figures and the magnificent terrain, you have set up a rather high bar for this competition.  :o

Thanks Frank. Nice compliment from a master himself ... Inspiration for next round's entry came directly from yourself!  8)
