And the camo is done. Now its time to dirty it up. I'll apply a filter first to bring the colors together a bit and then I'll pull out the weathering tools again. I'll be skipping the sprayed mud effect that I was trying to go for the first time.

Quite a bit more work has been completed on the Rolls. Finished the camo, applied a brown wash to the panel lines and details and started the weathering with rust and dust. I will work the dust a bit more but I need to let the first application of pigments dry and see how they look.

Relatively clean at this point, just the dark wash has been applied

Now its time to dirty this baby up; rust and dust applied

A final round of mud and dust and finally gave her some wheels. I may tweak it a bit depending on how the display base comes out. Right now I think I may need a bit more dirt on those white tires.

Where it goes in the cabinet will depend entirely on how well it does in the competition!

There's a great "Just For Fun" comp on the Steve Dean Forum going on at present:

http://sdean-forum.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=25.0

Assuming you're not already a member it might be worth joining the forum and entering the next comp?

Details of the how to join are on the first page, top left:

http://sdean-forum.co.uk/forum/index.php

Just a thought anyway  :)

Darrell.

I'm not sure I would even get through the first round in that but I'll think about it.

Well, if it's any comfort, I've just been knocked out of the first round and have come second in previous comps.... it's all just for fun  :).

Well the ghost didn't do as well as I hoped it would. I pulled off a bronze medal when I was hoping for silver. This seems to be a category that I have problems with. Just going to have to work harder at it next year. This was such a neat kit though I was hoping to do better with it.
