Brigade/new Foundry/Artizan size comparisons?
« on: October 09, 2008, 10:40:31 PM »
Just curious if anyone knows whether the new Brigade "Chinese Laundry" and "Debt Collectors" minis are the same size as Artizan figs (which is what I primarily use).

Also, I keep seeing a lot of size comparison shots that list "old Foundry" and "new Foundry" figs....but I still have no idea which packs are considered "new"...?

Any help is greatly appreciated....

Not got the Brigade ones you mention, however they usualy mix in absolutely fine. The Brigade stuff is often sculpted by Mike Owen (Crusader) whose stuff is deliberately compatible with the Artizan range.

In the Wild West range, the older packs are, Plains War, Townsfolk and associated packs, Mexicans etc. The new Foundry is the Packs of Outlaws, Posses, Mountain Men etc.
So many projects..... so little time.......

And the old ones are the smaller ones  :) But they can be mixed in quite nice by fiddling a bit with the base  ;)

If only that were true of all manufacturers  :(

The Brigade figures are sculpted by Paul Hicks (as is everything nowadays  lol ) whereas the Artizan range and newer Foundry sculpts are all by Mike Owen.

Ah yes, Mike does Artizan, Mark Sims does Crusader and has done a lot of work for Brigade. I stand corrected in these being done by Paul Hicks though (he is rather prolific isn't he, give him some more time and he may approach Perry speeds!). Statement still stands though, his stuff fits in fine.
