Painting dungeon-fantasy figures as fast as I can
« on: May 04, 2015, 07:11:57 PM »
There's an ever-changing roster of characters in my D&D game, so I try to build a diverse collection of models to go with them. Bones figures have been very handy!

A lot of these are speed-painted, so there's not a huge amount of detail, but I'm happy with them overall.

Anyway, here are some recent ones. More as I progress!

Utility monsters. The one on the right has mould lines because it was just a hurried test model to see whether Halfords car primer works on Bones (it does).

Magic-user! I think this guy is my favourite of the bunch.

Landshark with henchman for scale.

Pirates! The party are going to sea and have amassed a scurvy pirate crew.

Speaking of going to sea ...

Hurried or not your Dungeon Creations are all COOL & LOOKIN' GOOD...speed work can always be returned to when the spirit moves you.

That landshark is really cool. I haven't seen that model painted before.

Nice work, especially for a rush job!

Thanks for the kind words! Here are a few more rushed Bones paint jobs. I need a themed squad of baddies for D&D, but wound up not using the figures.

Also, a summoning circle and a ninja.

Nice PJs. I also like that water wyrd thingy. That semi-clear blue/green plastic seems to work well.
