Thanks Poco - about rules, I am not sure yet, I have various rules, and I might buy the latest from Too Fat Lardies to try it out, what's its name? I got TWaT already, and kinda like it. Other possibilities might be Force on Force, Baptism of Fire II, or even the old BGWWII.

Forgot to add a comparison shot with AB Miniatures ETO Americans, it should be fairly obvious which are which:



Both AB and SHQ are at the smaller end of 20mm minis, but I think SHQ are just a smidgeon skinnier and smaller. There's 'more' to paint with the AB minis, helmets and heads are a bit larger, bodies more robust, and so on. You probably wouldn't notice it too much on the table though. But since AB doesnt' have Pacific theatre troops (what a pity!), I cannot show direct comparison yet, as all my SHQ ETO Americans are yet unpainted.

Both makes of minis above are based on the same washers, so there's not much difference with the bases.

You're thinking of Chain of Command from Two Fat Lardies.
Eureka produces 20mm USA Marines and Japanese that are pretty much the same size as AB 20mm.

That's the one, thanks genew49. I will check out the Eureka minis, at least I would need some Japanese tank commanders and maybe a crew for the SHQ AA-gun. I know Milicast sells one tank commander set, but does anyone else?
