Britain rallies - More mechanical wonders!
« on: October 13, 2008, 08:40:25 AM »
In answer to the advancement in Prussian technology, Britain has forged ahead in the arms race.

The "Lowen" Steam tank HMLS Picton. Armed with medium gun straight from the Ironclad factory. A hulk of a vehicle, very thick armour designed to stop Krupp Gun shells of the Prussians but slow moving.

The new Faraday lightening cannon designed to knock out armour. It delivers a massive concentrated charge of lightening.

Finally, perhaps Her Majesty's(Gaud Bless 'Er) finest Aeroscaph HMAS Ariadne.   Developed using the latest gravity defying technologies. Unfortunately the sourse will remain a secret until after the war.

Prussia will be defeated - Hurrah!!!

The tank is from Ironclad miniatures, the lightening cannons are GW Warhammer 40KOrc Zap guns and the ship is Parroom Station miniatures.

Aaargh, you beat me to it!  lol

I have an old oop "zapp gun" on my table, waiting to be painted as a "lightning cannon" - I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks they are perfect VSF weapons.

Great stuff, that lot will give those Prussians something to think about as they munch their Bockwursts and gulp down their Schnapps!  ;)

Aye, that's excellent stuff!  8) 8) 8)

Those ork weapons have a nice VSF touch. Good use!

What basing material have you used to prevent your Aeroscaph from tipping over?

Its a large piece of plasticard with a heavy washer and lots of greenstuff to weigh it down.

Excellent work Malamute. I'm looking forward to having aerial dogfights wothour flyers (if I don't shoot yours down first with my AA tank).

Awesome paintjobs, I wish I could paint my steam tanks half as well as that.

Hmmm, I think I may have a zapp gun or two lying around somewhere...
