Great stuff, I like the colour and design on the stack. I think my Saxons may just steal that.

Why not I knicked it from a 'real'Saxon hall.the colours take a bit of getting use too, when you look with modern eyes although I know there right I still find it hard to look at on a table ,so I'm glad I did one of my cereal card test pieces before I tried it on a resin building.

I'm glad you like the boats there's another three on the other side of the shelf . As I think I mentioned before I'm overdue writing a couple boat tutorials. The time I had free to do them was taken by fostering so they've had to be put off till a little later in the year.
The swan ship is all me (yes it's from Grand Manner, but Dave bought the master from me)but I'll be covering these in a tutorial as well.
I intend to build most of the waterfront as well because fighting across the waterfront and moored ships seems like an interesting change of pace and will play quite differently with each of the rule sets I've got gathering dust.
Mark.

A little more progress, when these are finished I'll be doing some 'Saxon shore' infantry to represent the sailors as the idea of troops in a pale blue top seems like a nice contrast with both the local auxiliary and the Saxons.also a quick test of the legionnaires shields.

Thank you,the units now finished. I've started the next two, under coated and tweaked as the ships crew is only half a dozen figures so I might as well add in the legionnaires into the mix.
