Exceptional work, Matt!  :o :o :o that's artistry, pure and simple.

I had wondered too about the whole succour/looting argument; or alternatively:

*Gasp, hack!* "Dennis, promise me one thing when I'm gone..."
*Sniff* "Yes...anything you ask my friend"
*Gurgle, cough!* "Keep yer hands off my sister!"
Proudly not painting Wars of The Roses since... ever

Thanks for all your kind comments.

Sir Boris of Bilston is a modified figure made up from bits and pieces taken from various Perry medieval plastic boxsets.

The unfortunate resemblance to Boris Johnson was entirely unintentional as was the fact that it bares an uncanny likeness to a metal Perry figure (take a look at code: WR14 Men to compare and contrast). If the Perry's solicitor is watching, it wasn't on purpose - honest.

Always a pleasure to see your conversions, and Sir Boris is no exception. You got the casual, resting look just right.

I think I know what a certain Mayor of London would say about this:

Now what is this whole life of mortals but a sort of comedy, in which the various actors, disguised by various costumes and masks, walk on and play each one his part, until the manager waves them off the stage?

*Gurgle, cough!* "Keep yer hands off our sister!"

Fixed that for you, I know Bilston well.  lol

Nice work as usual Matt, inspiring in fact!  :)

More of the same, slightly less complex figure than Boris.

As a fanatic converter, you make me feel good !

Your work is great !

Plastic figurines are the nirvana for guys like us.
But i still don't like too much painting them.

Strange isn't it ?

Keep going then.

Cheers

Excellent conversion, some of the best I've seen with the Perry Plastic WoR/EA ranges.

 :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

The painting isn't too shabby either  :-* :-* :-*

Darrell.
