Secret German Base
« on: October 15, 2008, 12:17:45 PM »
Hello,

For a terrain project I'm building a secret WW2 German base, so I'm looking for inspirational pictures.

So far, my list of to-be-built-buildings is as follows:

- HQ Bunker
- Sentinel Posts
- Barbed Wire fences
- Barracks
- General purpose hangars (flying wings perhaps)
- Power generator

Who can tell me where I can find inspirational pictures? If there are buildings I forgot to add to my list, please tell :)

Cheers & thanks

Jase

Not the only one who had this when he was a kid I bet...always wanted to have a go at building this to 28mm....hmmm..

For other ideas, screen shots from Return to Castle wolfenstein should be of great help.

The size of the picture is tantalising, however, I cannot see it. Maybe the link is broken?

Remember to add barrack blocks and a hospital. To save time and money try the downloads from Ebob:

These make up very nicely. I made mine by printing onto thin card then gluing that onto thick card/mounting board.

The Plasticville Hangar and Control Tower kits would be a good starting place, I think.

Try searching for La Coupole - a V-2 launching site in Northern France

Works ok for me. Another link this time to a shop that has one in stock, cheap reference model too.
