Where did those transformer figures come from? I love them!

It look like a lot of conversion work, it is?

Good entry also for you, Malto Cortese: it has not been an easy choice.

They are all indeed HeavyGear conversions.
The Contructicon is unconverted, as is Shockwave.
Starscream, Megatron, Soundwave and Rumble are all converted.
Added wings from Robotech, head swaps, etc.

Thanks for the comments guys!

I knew that 'More than meets the eye' was D@rth just from the title, didn't even need to see the figures ;)

Thanks Dr. Mathias. I really enjoyed making this entry and the title seemed appropriate. My other option was "Robots in Disguise" but as they were all in robot mode, this title seemed more appropriate.

All the background scenery is from Gale Force Nine, Space Station Lasers.
Perfect for outfitting your space station against insignificant attacks from rebel scum.

WOW!

Tie breaking vote!

Truly, both are great entries, but you're supposed to choose one...

Good luck gentlemen.

The fact that a decent official Transformers range/rules never materialised is an ongoing simultaneous source of relief and disappointment to me.

Converted Heavy Gear mechs is a fantastic idea though.  I need to forget that I ever even saw these.  A buddy is trying to get me to paint some Heavy Gear figs to game with him, ugh, a temptation that I dont need, and now a Transformers temptation that I dont need...

Both entries are excellent :)
