Witch hunters
« on: May 31, 2015, 01:11:34 PM »
I intended to use them for pulp/fantasy cultists/zealots/withhunters as well as knights of the order of St.John in foraging garments:

Most excellent!
Are those the older WestWind monks?
Your contrasting colors and highlighting are nice. For mostly black figures they don't seem too dark.
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

Boy, pretty bad photo.
The background is all out of focus.  :o :`
Love your figures. Your black looks great. :)
PS Can we have a close up of the woman in the background?

Black.

I mean Vallejo Black No. 72.051 that is.

Highlighted with white mixed in, five layers of increasing amounts of course... :D

Yes, black like black, the colour of coal, tar, soot, absence of light, space (without stars of course -> see: absence of light)...

Even better in close-up. Really very nice figures and excellent painting Michael.

I have a few assorted West Wind figures from the Gothic Wars / Vampires Wars ranges, and I must say I find them variable. Some a lot better than others. Some slightly 'overactive' poses.
But I like these Witchhunters very much.
