The freehand decal you've painted on each vehicle is especially impressive. I have browsed the whole thread though and think it is all excellent. The converted figures for Botswalia are superb though!  :)

Great looking African army, so sad to hear about the divided world turning one Botswalian brother against the other.  ;D

Love the BTRs. Want some of those myself, somewhat bigger.

 Hi guys

A friend/customer asked me to help him with a pretty large 15mm Portuguese colonial war AK47 project, one of the vehicles I was tasked with designing was the Berliet GBC truck, it was used by the Portuguese to lead convoys as an anti mine vehicle, often reenforced with sandbags and the windscreen was removed to stop flying glass, seats were added to the back to transport troops. The files are now available at my shop in both 1/100 and 1/72 supported and unsupported.

 Hi guys

A friend has tasked me with fulfilling a large, long planned15mm AK47 Portuguese African colonial wars project, it includes 5 factions and requires me 3D print the vehicles and some of the infantry, some of which I needed to design/convert/improve in CAD, as I finish each part I will do a post.

Here I have a Portuguese Alouette III helicopter and 2 Berliet GBC trucks, the heli is a 3D print I bought from David Michael Freemantle off the Rhodesian bush wars models FB page, I CAD design the Berliet trucks (STL is available at my wargaming3D shop) these trucks were tough, and were used at the head of conveys to detonate mines, hence the removal of the windscreen and the sandbag placement to better protect the crew, I made the sandbags with putty.

Very nice. I've thought of doing some African 1970/80s gaming as an alternative to the more popular Vietnam.  Old Glory UK sell some very nice Rhodesians but don't seem to sell any insurgent figures.  QRF used to produce a range of S African vehicles but I don't know if they are still in production.

Hi guys

I saw a couple of pics post on one of my FB pages of interesting vehicles, so I thought I would make them up for my friends AK47 Portuguese African colonial wars project, a quad .50cal mounted on a Berliet truck, the quad is a file from ANERDSNERD from cults3D, converted to fit on my Berliet, and a mine roller that I designed, it’s designed to fit onto the front of any of the various vehicles used in this role, the test prints printed nice in 15mm, I’ll get them painted up next week.

You are definitely in the boss's bad books if you are rostered to drive that mine roller.

How does it steer the front wheels?

I actually have no idea, I only have a few grainy B&W pictures to work from.

Good looking stuff in this thread.

But, tell us.  Do you do anything besides build and paint minis?  Your output is incredible!   :o
