Good Source for 18mm Washers?
« on: June 01, 2015, 02:02:26 PM »
OK, I've tried my local B&Q and Homebase but to no avail.....

Does anyone know of an online retailer that does 18mm washers (sorry to be so lazy as to not look for myself but I'm in deep with stuff).

Darrell.

For those in the UK Wilkinsons (Wilco) do a pick n mix for screws, washers etc. For £2 you can get a lot of washers. Only problem is I have no idea whether they do 18mm diameter.

Try a local 'old school' hardware store, as they often sell washers loose.
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2024 = 38
(2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

2 eurocents are 18.75mm and a good deal cheaper then buying same sized washers, and magnetic too. Maybe something to think about.

You'll need the DIN9021 type, these are 18 mm (and cost 2,2p per washer).

Used to be able to buy both 18mm and 24mm washers locally, but they seem to have been discontinued, which is a tad annoying  :?

Guess I'll have to go Evilbay, too.
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
