I don't think that would be a problem for the rules Dirk

I know your page, own all the stuff. I'm a fanboy. But never tried it "outside" the rules in the books. And Collin and his bother are very good guys to get help.

I hope my "quick games" look as brilliant as yours. Great. Can I use 7Voyages for Babylonians?

You can use them for virtually any historical/fantasy skirmish game Dirk. Here's my greek hopilite cast. Its 141 points but you've still got to pick your 'Gift of the Gods' item which will add to that total. I imagine this would work for your babylonians. Maybe change some of the weapons to add a bit of babylonian flavour.

I'm afraid my pics of the game weren't great but here's my ten pence worth....

Very nice setup Colin.

Did you both enjoy the rules?

Yes definitely! They suit the type of game we were used to playing ages ago. They remind me of the classic,  old style GW Fantasy Battle with all the magic cards and items and great characters. There's a lot to remember though. Each star/co-star/monster has quite a few different skills/attributes to use and its fairly easy(at least for inexperienced players) to suddenly realise your now dead hero had a special parry, save or spell that could have saved him. But thats just an experience (or old age memory ;)) problem. They're a REALLY fun set of rules.

This is really cool stuff! I'd love an excuse to paint some Crocodile Games Spartans for a 300 themed game, 7th Voyage sounds like a great choice.

Man, I really need to play this game!  Have the rules, have some minis (some of them are even painted lol ), but have yet to give it a go.  I need more mythological elements, I guess, but every time I read an AAR I get antsy for some Greek mythology!
