As many of you have probably realised, I have this thing for bits. Not just endless, vacuum cleaner-clogging boxes of the stuff, but bits in my games too. They sort of go together. As an ex-military logistician I have a bit of a love for all the noise and back-up that makes things happen. That leads to sessions like this, where I make endless clutter, which has little other purpose than to, well, add clutter.

In this case it's heavy equipment for my Lady Scrappers Salvage Crew. More means of breaking into long forgotten vaults and extracting the goodies back to Junktown.  Cutters, bots, boxes and...y'know, stuff.

Drill and cutting attachments

Bots

Hughes Corporation Multi-spectrum signal tracker - got to find a vault to break into it

The Hughes Corporation Super-Grinda

Vaultec Industrial Cutta-bot 550

Tandy On-site Disassembler

Mac

It's not big, or clever, but let's do it anyway

Are you buying full kits to get this stash, or buying bits on eBay or other third party sites?

I'm impressed by the sheer variety of sources of the stuff you've packratted!

So far I have resisted buying full kits to 'salvage' with the exception of discounted lucky strikes like the Titan Forge stuff, which I got in a bundle. Mostly I just trawl ebay looking for left over sprues or job lots. Sometimes I pay a little too much for not much, but mostly I tend to get decent hauls. I work on the basis that if I have way too much of everything, when I need something specific, I'll have it. It's worked so far. That said I do also do specific bits buys from people like Puppetswar and Greenstuffworld for those extra special 'bits'.

You are an amazing phenomenon, your persistence and patience in collecting all these pieces is enviable!
You must be keeping some inventory written, I suppose, or... you just remember where you have stored everything?

Thank you, although I think it may be a little OCD. Mostly I rely on luck. I keep having to look through stuff to remind myself what I have and quite often, just after I build something, I find a better part I should have used. Nice problem to have though  ;)

Been playing around with more bits and bots. Using Puppetswar's Steam Bots as a base, I've made myself some clanky proxy-Fallout bots.
