Thanks PM it’s a good point of detail. Now you’ve mentioned it I think I’ll have to fix it. Can’t unsee it! Technical expertise always welcome!

I just thought you hadn't gotten around to it, tbh. Looks great so far, I'll love to see it finished when it's ready.

Very much looking forward to seeing it completed! I keep hoping for the announcement of a large glossy book based on pics of your models, “A Walking Tour of Junktown”. Until then, I’ll keep going back a few times a year through the earlier parts of this thread.

A few first pics of the completed Muthaship. Didn't catch the best light so I will try and get some better ones, but these are kinda atmospheric.

Thanks again to Pattus Magnus for the hydraulics spot.

And a few indoor shots to show some of the detail...

Daaaamn! That is incredible! Every pic has so many details to enjoy. I like the cardboard boxes, you just don’t see those very often in modern, post-apocalyptic, or sci-fi gaming bits.

(I’m glad the info about hydraulic cylinders was helpful. Those parts look just right now!)

Wow that looks amazing. A home on wheels, what a rig.

My eyes were captured by the cardboard boxes. I tried some myself but gave up as they were near impossible to fold at scale on card stock. They look perfect! What GSM stock did you use?

I hate to say it...but that's a paint job. It's a single piece of resin. Made by Skytrex and painted using Modelcolour khaki.

So good to see activity on this mega-thread again - the Muthaship is amazing, so much detail and interest, without being too much or overwhelming the whole build.  Perfection.

The whole thread is just packed with cool stuff and is super inspirational - time I went and trawled through it all from the beginning again! (I've lurked around for quite a while!).

Brilliant work! That piece is a character in itself, begging to be a key element of a narrative game. Heck, I want to watch a movie oe tv show with that beast on wheels in it.
