We used Lion Rampant for a game recently which we rather enjoyed, they are being painted up to play Dux Brittaniarum which I have had since its release but I am coming round to fact that I don't really wish to remember another set of rules so may stick to LR as we will be using them for our Wars of the Roses games also.

Really lovely colourful painting Phil 

Many would say that such bright colours were unlikely to have existed in the Dark Ages but I disagree. I've seen reconstructive archaeological evidence that this is probably not true. Anyway, warriors would turn out in their finery to show off themselves- the greater the wealth, the greater the warrior.
