There are plenty of robots that do so much better than the ones in the video... Asimo, for example.

I think this video was put out to distract us while the robots secretly excel in their hidden laboratories :)

I may just have happened to be in a receptive mood for it, but that brought tears of laughter to my eyes. I loved the ones that simply collapsed from the strain of trying to operate a door handle.
