Keep as is, but put together a PDF catalogue of the painted figures (maybe with a few other PDF "freebies") and sell it for eg £1 a throw - moght not get many takers, but hopefully it will be a good loss leader for aftersales.

Taller!

I've not long been stocking minis myself but having the same thoughts, I'd like to start slowly cabineting as it can be hard to see or find the minis in packs, but it's just the initial cost of getting them painted (and I can't get EVERYTHING I stock painted because it's a lot, and some of it I may only sell a few, so it's not worth the cost, so I was going to get "highlight" pieces of every range, to guide through blister mountain.)

I've already started experiencing how quickly just a few people can cram up the stall but I guess that happens with cabinets too, I really like Ian/Fenris layout - just a big long cabinet with it all in!

Otherworld are quite impressive too, they have a huge cabinet and the blisters at the back that you *can* look at, but it's more like a stockroom area :D

Display cabinets away from the counter.

I detest the rucksack scrum (we all take rucksacks!) and usually browse until I get annoyed or someone who doesn't wash gets too close and then I leave without buying anything. Even if I really know what I want from such stalls I get frustrated by having to look for it.

Looking at the display cabinet then asking for what I want is a much nicer experience. I agree with the idea of some posters or catalogues too.
