Sorry if I missed it, but who makes the figures? Great game, and very well reported.

Great looking battle, and I like the terrain cloth. I once met the "Furst of Furstenburg",in 1983 in Papillion -Nebraska,at a bar called Spielvogels,he was promoting his beer and brought a lot o it,I still have the Beer Opener, what did you use for the cloth.?

I think Blue Moon do a fairly comprehensive range though I'm at a loss as to say what's what.

Great battle report and I too would be very interested in hearing who manufacturers what (and perhaps seeing a size comparison if you get the chance to take some snaps?)

I hope Furstenburg doesn't mind me taking over his thread but as the minis are all mine I'm best able to answer the questions.

The miniatures are a mix of all manufactures. The Mahdist camelry are Lancashire and the infantry are a mix of Lancashire, Peter Pig, Minifigs, Irregular & Essex. I dithered about which ones to use for quite a while but then just decided to mix them all together and while there are size differences its nothing too noticeable. I was on a budget when I started building the armies so the bulk of the Mahdist forces are probably Lancashire with all the other manufactures used to add variety.

The Egyptians are mainly Peter Pig but the Sudanese units are Essex and one of the cavalry units is from Minifigs. There aren't actually any Blue Moon in there.

The desert mat is from Mat-O-War which are available from the Hobby Den.

I have been meaning to take close up photos of the figures as size comparisons for ages but never got around to it. I'll make more of an effort  :)
