Burgundian Coustillers (Perry plastics)
« on: June 23, 2015, 08:19:34 PM »
A completed unit of Burgundian Coustillers, using Perry plastic Light Cavalry figures (with some bits borrowed from other boxes, and one metal figure) for my Ordonnance army.

They will form up the rear rank of my men at arms, as shown here.

More images are on my blogette... http://je-lay-emprins.blogspot.co.uk/ and more of these figures in prep.
Cheers,
Simon.

You made my day, Simon!  They look stunning, especially in conjunction with the men-at-arms.
Now what is this whole life of mortals but a sort of comedy, in which the various actors, disguised by various costumes and masks, walk on and play each one his part, until the manager waves them off the stage?

Well, those are pretty rubbish, aren't they?!....

I only wish I could paint a quarter as well.

Lovely work Simon-  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

I noticed that some seemed to be in a different style to your usual brushwork- have you changed your painting style in some way?

Also, a really nice touch to have them formed up in their respective places forming the 'Lance'- i noticed the crossbowmen in there.

Excellent stuff  8) :-* :-* :-* 8)

Darrell.

Can only agree with the others.

That's some pretty damn righteous painting.
