Late Roman army ~ now with the added army of Baldinus
« on: July 01, 2015, 01:51:46 PM »
A few pictures of my Late Roman army, commanded in the field by the Emperor himself, the reknowned Pompus Maximus!

There are more over on my Blog of course, so pop over if you are so minded.

Neil Thomas's Ancient and Medieval Rules at the moment.

Some nice additions there Mr. B, your late Romans are a pleasure to lead to the slaughter.

Lovely, lovely Late Romans. Good ol' Perry sculpts, big bases, excellent paintjobs all around – what's not to like? :-*

Echoing the earlier posts, I'm also impressed with this collection.   8)

The army of Baldinus. This is the other half of my late C4th Roman collection ~

Baldinus as field commander of the army

Auxiliary Infantry and bolt thrower

Warband or more Auxilia

Albinus commands the cavalry

Hun allies ~ painted by Matt when he was just out of Uni

The whole army of Baldinus. Apart from the Huns and one command group they were all painted by Andy Dumelow for me.

Very inspirational,  who makes these guys? Foundry, Gripping Beast, crusader?
