I suppose that as the Original Poster, I should chime in too:

My wife and I play board games one night a month with another couple, which usually includes Zombicide. Other than that, I maybe get to play 3-4 times a year - at a buddy's house, or hosting my nephew over, or at the "nano-con" we organize semi-occasionally.

While I haven't gotten to paint or build terrain in over a year, I've successfully resisted pressure to get rid of my (admittedly small) collection of figures. If they stay out of sight on the workshop shelves, they don't draw the wife's attention. She's keen on "simplifying" the house, which means, mostly, getting rid of any project I'm not actively working on at that moment.

Every Monday (almost) since 1971 with the same opponent though others have joined in at times.  We now have 5 players regularly though one is moving away in September.

I have absolutely no intention of getting rid of my pulp and LotR figures.

Don´t
do
it!

It would leave you with nothing to play with once she´s gone...  :?

My gaming is probably going up in the near future as I am taking part in a flames of war campaign.

Unfortunately as of this week all of my miniatures and gaming materials are in storage, 1200 miles away from me until December.  Is there a wargaming community in New Mexico, by any chance?

the less said about what americans think coffee is the better.  :D

Ridiculous! That Dunkin Donuts crap, yes. But we have a fine coffee-house selection over here. Come on over, and I'll buy you one.  ;)
