Not in Ronin but the way fist full of Kung Fu works you can make your own team and add the skills to them yourself so it making monkey should be possible. Daisho that is out soon works similarly to I believe.

I am looking at Fistful of Kung Fu but a bit hazy on Monkeys abilities. Yes he can fly on a cloud. I assume he is strong but what else?? Will just have to watch them again.

There should be plenty here:

But yeah, Sun Wukong is strong, agile, incredibly tough, immortal, handsome, can shapeshift into 108 forms, make copies of himself, carries the "As-you-will" 100 ton cudgel, and that's just from the top of my head...

Thanks for that will do some proper research. I guess watching some old TV shows and films just doesn't cut it. Is a laugh though.

A quick pic of the just painted Monkey, Tripitaka and Pigsy chuffed at finally making it to the top of the painting pile.

Yes Black Hat miniatures. Nice figures and a wide range. Unfortunately Sandy is a bit delicate and didn't survive the long wait in the painting que.

I don't think the monkey show was on tv in my country. Its a bummer.
How long will it take Osprey and North Star to release a Wuxia game?
They seem to release new rulesets on a monthly basis.

Great paintjob on those minis btw.

Thanks.
I'm leaning towards using A fistful of Kung Fu.

Unfortunately Sandy didn't make it. He is in quite a dynamic jumping pose and is attached by his toes. So has come adrift of the base. Someday I will stick a pin up his jacksie so he is jumping.

Fistful of Kung Fu is Osprey's wuxia ruleset - based on "Song of Blades & Heroes", fast & light, but with tactical depth and the ability to customize your fighting force. Highly recommended.
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."
