Victrix Napoleonic Rules...
« on: July 09, 2015, 01:11:13 AM »
Anybody help with a bit of advice...

1. Do you draw an event card every game move?

2. How many figures in a unit, and does each unit have an Occifer, Standard Bearer and Sergeant?

3. How many units and what ratio of Horse, Foot and Guns gives a nice game?

Any advice will be greatly received.

Beautiful pics. Tks.

For the cards ...it may be possible that you pick a single card for a unit at the start of the game.
Makes sense to me.
Check the pictures from the presentation game for unit size.

16-32 figures per infantry unit.
16 can be fragile, 32 can be awkward to manouvre.
24 is probably a good strength.

The trio of command are useful but may not be compulsory, also don't forget drummers.
Played a game where I had units without the full set, and they didn't do well.
