The Captain-General
« on: October 24, 2008, 09:30:50 PM »
Well, actually, it's the Bicorne Lord Hopton, who was of course a royalist.
Still, never let the truth get in the way of a good story.  ;D
He looks like a puritan to me.
In fact he looks a lot like Cromwell to me - or maybe that's just because it's the same haircut Richard Harris sported when he was playing Cromwell.

Actually, now I look at him, he looks a bit more like Vladimir Putin in a glam rock wig.
Still, never mind...  ;)

I mounted him on a Renegade horse, because I wanted a bit more down-to-earth dynamism to him.

Very nice Capt'n, you never fail to amaze.

BTW, do you have any links to tutorials of the painting technique which you use?

Very nice. I really like the way you photograph your figures too. They also look even better in the flesh.
I can see what you mean about the resemblance to Putin and the Richard Harris hairtcut. :)
