« on: June 07, 2015, 12:25:51 PM »
Just picked up osprey's a world aflame rules. I've started on a us force in china in 1927. I got 28mm naval shore party models easy enough but I am having bother finding good period marines, any suggestions. I'm OK for tanks ,I'll just use ft17s.

As far as I know the best option you will have is to check out some of the 1920s pulp line of mins.
This is a link to Brigade Games site Caribbean wars section. Look though it, and you will find some 6 sets of USMC in topical 1920s gear.

Oh shoot! That's a lot of figures withdrawn from production!

The above book by Schiffer is expensive but will tell you all about this unit.

Is it possible that Bob is re-doing them? He darkens our doorstep occasionally, so you could ask.  ;)

Tiger minitures do 3 packs based on the "Sand Pebbles" movie. Very tempted to get them at some point.

Great figures (still resting in my lead pile) but mind they are BIG. They tower over all other 28mm I have
