When I saw the Giraffe from HLBS I thought "I want this" but when it arrived I realized that it wouldn't be easy to paint this beauty. So it took me a while till I started off. Finally the Giraffe should take part in our DA Scenario.

WOW - he looks fantastic! :o

The appearance is almost stenciled - that is some remarkable brushwork!!

Thank you!
After I had to redo some lines I got a feeling how it would work.It reminded me of the time when I painted the Kilts of the Cameron Highlanders. So I had to be careful not to get to geometric with the pattern, don't wanted to end up with a chess board  lol

When Obadiah was recruiting the natives for his Expedition he saw one who was clad in something that reminded him of his beloved Country. So he made him carry the Flag but never found out what origins this piece of cloth were.  :D ;)
