So, Tellus, tell us about the blue flag with the white X, please.  If you already explained it, forgive me.

Tellus, I'm so glad you've revived your thread. These are another lovely pair of figures. I particularly like the cricketer. I'm a massive cricket fan so it's always wonderful to see this figure painted so well  :-*

I wish I knew where mine has gone to. Possibly he sneaked of to the West Indies for the World Twenty20 .....  lol lol

@chicklewis
Ah, well, no problem..eh... the Expedition Leader Mr. Obadiah Digwiddow is obviously a true scotsman, as you can see in the picture below. So, what do you expect he likes his Bannerbearer to carry?  lol

@Gluteus
glad you like him, it's really a unique figure. I'm with you as my cricketeer has left my collection, too. I painted him as a present for mothers day and she loves him :)

Tellus, that flag is also the 'signalling flag' for the letter "M".  Embarassingly, I missed the fact that it also is the flag of Scotland.

Funny you should say that. I have bought that Bob Murch figure with this exact idea in mind. Just haven't got around to starting it yet.

You're building quite an awesome collection.

The cricket'er and Mr. Obadiah Digwiddow are down right beautiful.   :-*

Looks like his man has it covered.

Interesting fabric texture - very nice though

Very nice Mark. I like the croc in the background :)

Thank you!

@Nick
I've painted the cigar man as a present for someone else but wanted to keep a picture of him. Then I had this scene on my mind and as I had the crocodile already primed in the shelve I painted it in 10 minutes.. é voila. I like the way it turns up in the picture, too. A bit blurry and it blends in with the vegetation quite nice.
