Never been a history gaming buff but I'm painting and playing some Bolt action right now.  Will always love Pulp and LOVE Pulp Alley.  Never did the classic fantasy stuff either...But got "Frostbit" :)

Infinity has dominated our group the last year, Bolt Action has picked up some steam and we are starting a low fantasy campaign using some home brew rules.

My group are rather quirky in our choices, possibly due to being all the way out in (Wild) West Wales?

6mm micro-armour games are always popular whether WW2 or 'modern'.
War Machine and Hordes are big favourites.
DBA, HotT, Deadzone and Dreadball are popular for quick evening games.
Kings of War seems to be giving old Warhammer Fantasy armies a new lease of life.
Flames of War is popular, some play in 15mm and some play with 6mm micro-armour, some have both sizes.
Dystopian Wars naval is a recent addition as is Infinity.
19th century wars in 10mm are played by two of us.

Playing Black Powder with my group at present. Busy painting a Hanoverian 7YW army of Minden/RSM95 figures at the moment, and will probably be playing an AWI game with my mate next week.
Last figures I have purchased have been Warlord (ECW/TYW) and Perry's (plastic AWI).
Cheers

Dark Age up till around 1400, both Historical and Fantasy-style  :).
The more wilde, "primitive" and feral, the better...
