CMM miniatures in Frostgrave
« on: August 01, 2015, 09:20:50 AM »
I really like figures made by Custom Made Miniatures, a line which deserves more attantion from wargamers in my opinion. There is a lot of great figures quite useful for Frostgrave, especially if you are into realistic looking miniatures. This is a selection of my favourite ones.

Wizards

This will be my ranger.

Barbarians

Warhound

Necromancer

They look Nice...but why are barbarians always naked, we hear this all the time about female figures on the market in bikini armor but its the same for barbarians male/and female.  You hear about the Northern barbarian tribes so I assume it's a bit chilly so why, for the most part are they half naked and even when they have a fur cloak for some warmth they are still half naked. I assume that for the most part as with the half naked female figures it's Hollywood's fault (I'd blame Conan but he is bigger than me)  All that being said anyone making Smart thoughtful barbarians?
Barbarella: What's that screaming? A good many dramatic situations begin with screaming...

I agree these look good and I have never heard of them either. I had a look at the webstore http://www.custommademinis.com/en/shop/, but was wondering whether they were still trading. They are announcing new minis for 2012.

The eshop works, although the last online update I can see is from April 3rd 2015.

As to the size comparison, I hope this picture helps :) Note that the necromancer is fresh from the blister. The female wizard is their older pre-slotta version.

New company tomr too, but very nice models. Although that ranger pass as a tracker with staff, bow AND hand weapon, and I'm having a hard time finding decent tracker models so that's even better.

Tracker lacks sword, but the model should work fine for both I guess :)

Mooching on the website, I realized I had seen their work... a long time ago when there were fewer figures available.  I went ahead and placed an order - thanks again for bringing them to my attention.

That dog is excellent. I rather like this rogue too, though he's not dressed for snowy conditions!
