Hi We had a test play through last night with just 2 figs a side over this terrain and no real plot points.

Just to see how the basics went. Still used the fortune cards but of course some of them were useless in a straight up fight!

I seemed to draw a fair few of them!

Still had a right laugh though!! lol

Only some of these figures were used. I do intend to use the Ninjas in Gangs but that is for the future.

Very nice terrain. I'm quite jealous of your train, I have been looking for an ok looking train for a few Christmases now.

I would suggest playing again with plot points. Its true that the game is very good purely on combat mechanics, but having the plot points changes everything. The people I introduce to pulp alley always mention the plot points the most as being cool and different.

We'll be giving it more with more of the rules as we learn them. We are very old fashioned and like to get to know things on a piece by piece basis. I do like the card mechanics. (Then again we did create Bog-a-ten! So no surprise there!)
I love the way it's possible to throw spanners into the works with the cards. :-*

Yep the train is lovely. It's just a pity that more of the same sets aren't of the same scale! I still get tempted by the other ones though they are really a bit too small!! o_o

I will keep my eyes open and everyone informed!

Very smart! That's a good way to get to know the rules.  ;)

£7.85 now. Can't remember what I paid for it probably 25 years ago or more now. :)
