A medieval town in forced perspective...
« on: August 01, 2015, 09:55:06 PM »
Okay,

So after a long break on this project, I decided to take a different tack: forced perspective!

It all started with the Lead Adventure League and the rule that images couldn't be used as backgrounds... Along with that, all of the amazing terrain setups that get shown there. So, I wanted to do something cool that would be awesome, that I could use to compose some great images.

I wrote an article on the whole process, check it out here:

A Medieval Town in Forced Perspective

Here are some teaser shots:

A forced-perspective test shot of the work-in-progress!

Some structures in the foreground under construction.

The final piece all together!

Thanks
n

Lovely work! You can see Neldoreth's original model scenery thread here, rather worth a visit:

Very neat idea, executed perfectly. A whole set of them on the primeter of an urban layout would look fantastic.

Aye, a lovely change in tack. When a project just doesn't "do it" for you any more it's great when you execute something that makes you smile.
