Im looking for a not-Bad Ash figure but Fantasy ranges are not my forte.

The new Zombicide game has one as an extra (far right)...

...but I am more interested in a currently available, preferably metal approximation.  Does anyone around here know of one?

Thanks in advance for any help!

You can try to look for the army of darkness miniatures from leading edge , but finding them can be pretty tricky as well...
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Thanks Braxandur.  The Leading Edge figs are quite small and old fashioned in a way that doesnt appeal to me (unlike some other old figures which do), so I think that I will give them a miss.  A perfect suggestion otherwise of course.

There has long been a demand for an Evil Ash to lead undead armies since the Leading Edge era figures though surely, there must have been.  Some other manufacturer must have made an approximate...right?

I know you're after metal, but I think a zombie survivor legs (trousers and shoes), a zombie head with half of a skeleton head and some putty for the helmet (all this from Wargames Factory sprues) and then some Perry armoured body and cloak and you're good to go.

I don't know if anyone still manufactures Julie Guthrie's Fantasy Personalities (formerly Grenadier), but if so, this Kurgan-alike might be do the trick. I recall that he was quite big by the standards of that range:

The size ( hight ) of the classic 25mm Lords of Light/Lords of Decay and other older Guthry Grenadier models can be mixed with classic Citadel models, but they are not heroic sculpts so will they appear a tad small next to 1987-90 Citadel ones and downright tiny compared to the 1992-and-later sculpts. Especially the weapons.
But if you are planning a whole warband in that size, please do so. The quality of the designs and crispness of the sculpts are still top notch, even after 30+ years. Quite a feat!  :)
