Yeah, they are not that bad, and certainly better than the metal tat some produce.

Good luck with your venture.

Thanks for the comments guys (and the critics), we are aiming to really offer some nice generic scenery at a reasonable price.

I have good news, and that is the KStarter preview!

You will notice that all pledge levels receive nice freebies, and the higher the peldge is, the more freebies you receive. They are total real freebies, of the same pieces/models funded in the campaign, so no crazy , unreal and out of delivery time freebies spam :)

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nickryan/637933305?token=98e0b482

The last 2 pledges, has a 35-38% discount, aimed for people with local shops, they will get lots of pieces at practically 1 dollar each! :)

Salutes, enjoy!

...And the palisade wall sections have no fighting platform?

They are simple palisades, a taller one with "fighting platform", or an attachable platform is planned.

The Kstarter campaign starts TOMORROW, september 1st!

You can already start sharing & liking the Idylwild Games facebook page (surely there will be facebook likes bonus!):

We are already sculpting more pieces to be made in plastic, as stretch goals

:D

Thanks!

The prices look pretty good, I would probably pledge just to try them out at that price level.  ;)

I'll pledge. I voted for stone walls. It was hard between that and the keep but I felt stone walls led to a wide audience and could also be used to make a keep with a bit of extra work.

I delayed, but yes! started:

Regarding to stone walls, nick forgot to add in the pool they are "low-stone walls", not like fortress big walls; we want to keep it as a outpost, village-level plastic kit.

This is a wip of the stone wall:

Hi, here there is a WIP of the keep, it has no planks/trunks details of course, it is the basic structure and the joint system, i esigned it so there is NO need of glue.

The floors can be inserted and pulled off easily while the tower stays assembled thanks to the horizontal planks whose ends enclose tightly :)

I love it!

Looks good for a starter but will it be able to be made multiple ways such as twice the length or height etc?

it will come with 3 floors and 6 walls: 3 normal and 3 with gates so you can make a Gate-keep or a normal one, and use the 1 floor and 2 spare walls to stratch build what you like.

However if you own 2 keeps set, you can actually will be able to make 3 keeps with the spare parts.

not to mention that each keep set brigns 3 ladders as well , so you wuold be having 3 keeps and 6 ladders! :D

We aim to do stand alone parts. Combinable and "level up" system will be done in the future for sure (i am already sketching the system haah)
